SUMMARY Factory Operator is responsible for the production output including basic repair, cleaning, and troubleshooting of basic machine faults. Ability to work quickly to maintain high production levels and know when to escalate problems with the machine to supervisors. Operate the equipment in a safe manner with quality and safety in mind.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of hose, airguns, IPA, cloths, vacuum, and other appliances.
Ensure line maintains productivity levels needed to meet production demands.
Quickly address machine faults and alarms and resolve them quickly.
Report any issues requiring a technician to the line supervisor.
Produce products that meet quality standards with minimal defects.
Monitor standard equipment settings and escalate deviations for adjustment.
Help equipment technicians repair the equipment if needed.
Help other operators during breaktimes and flexibility to cover other work areas.
Ability to follow standardized work and not deviate from SOP and work instructions.
Adhere to the policies and procedures.
Work with engineering teams to improve daily operations and optimize tool performance.
Identify areas of improvement within manufacturing and systems
Participate in resolution of urgent production issues as they occur
Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of college or technical school (preferred, but not required)
More than one year of experience in Semiconductor field (preferred, but not required)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing process
Able to cope with pressure and be a team player
Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction
Able to stand and be on feet for up to 12 hours
Must be a safety and quality conscious person
Goal and customer oriented individual
Must have to the ability to work with small quantities of chemicals and in a wet lab environment (applicable to specific job function)
Must have the ability to prepare high quality samples free of damage specific to the process technique trained on and as outlined in related SOPs.
Must be able follow detailed instructions to carry out tasks related to specific analysis work orders (applicable to specific job function)
Must have the ability to manipulate small features, tools or samples consistently as related to sample preparation or equipment maintenance and troubleshooting (applicable to specific job function)
Teachable with the ability to demonstrate comprehension of sophisticated equipment and proven methodologies
Previous Equipment Maintenance a plus (applicable to specific job function)
Demonstrates ability to lead teams related to projects and/or joint tasks
Skilled as a trainer/mentor/coach with focus on individual and team growth
Advanced ability to innovate work flows or procedures
Advanced troubleshooting skills with proven experience
