Job description

We are hiring a Material Handler Forklift Operator for a Plastic Film Roll Manufacturing Company in Covington, GA. Please apply for immediate hiring!

Shift Hours

• 12-hour rotating shift (2/3/2)
• Rotate working 36 hours one week and 48 hours one week
• Work BOTH Days and Nights rotate every 14 days
• Off every other Weekend!!
• Day Shift 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Night Shift 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Weekly Pay
• Health Insurance is offered after completion of a successful evaluation period
• Work 6 months of service eligible for Holiday Pay

Responsibilities

The job requires a highly motivated individual to work in a team of 3-4 associates processing plastic resin back into the system to be further processed into a usable form. This is a job that requires a combination of excellent forklift skills as well as machine operating skills to move the material into position and feed it to its proper machine. The position will report directly to our client and their associates. The job requires full attention to detail and safety.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Machine operating skills
• Computer skills
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift 365 days including holidays
• Motivation to work safely and help new employees do the same
• Ability to function in a manufacturing environment that is fast paced and continuous
• Willingness to work in a cold and warm than comfortable environment
• Willingness to offer feedback on improving job processes
• Willingness to keep a clean, organized work environment to ensure safety and product quality
• Ability to read and follow instructions on product changeovers and production plans
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to work as a team
• Basic understanding of 5S + Safety + PPE
