JOB SUMMARY As a Factory Fab Cleaning Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the factory's fabrication (fab) area. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the fab shop floor, equipment, and facilities are kept clean, sanitized, and organized to uphold safety, operational efficiency, and quality standards. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing the fab shop floor to remove dirt, debris, and spills. Clean and sanitize fabrication equipment, workbenches, tools, and machinery to prevent contamination and ensure product quality. Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, shelves, and storage areas, using appropriate cleaning agents to maintain a hygienic environment. Waste Management: Empty trash bins, recycling containers, and scrap collection bins, ensuring proper separation and disposal of waste materials. Manage hazardous waste disposal according to company policies and regulatory requirements, following established protocols to minimize risks and environmental impact. Equipment Maintenance Support: Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of fab equipment by removing debris, grease, and buildup from machine surfaces and components. Report any equipment malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needs to the maintenance department for timely repairs and maintenance. Inventory and Supply Management: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other consumables used in fab cleaning activities. Replenish supplies as needed and maintain organized storage areas to ensure availability and accessibility of cleaning materials and equipment. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling of cleaning chemicals. Identify and report safety hazards, equipment defects, or facility maintenance issues to supervisors or safety personnel for prompt resolution. Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate cleaning schedules and activities with other cleaning technicians and production staff to ensure comprehensive coverage and minimal disruption to operations. Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders to address cleaning priorities, schedule adjustments, and special requirements. QUALITIFICATION: Previous experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or similar roles is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safety procedures applicable to manufacturing environments. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Physical stamina and agility to perform cleaning tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment. Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards in the fab area. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments. Working Conditions: The job may involve exposure to various cleaning chemicals, dust, and noise typical of a manufacturing environment. Some tasks may require lifting and moving heavy objects or operating cleaning equipment. Work hours may vary and could include evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on production schedules and facility needs. While working in the cleanroom, wearing special clean clothes, gloves, shoes, mask and hood is mandatory.

Benefits will be offered upon permanent hire, contingent on the evaluation period and performance.*** Pay rate starts at $27.00 to $33.00 (pay increase depending on experience) Schedule: Monday to Friday  Rotating both Shifts every two weeks 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Summary A Maintenance Technician (Maintenance Mechanic, Electrician, Plumber) is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards, and scheduling major repairs with the building’s inhabitants. This is a temp-to-hire position. Responsibilities A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Some other tasks a Maintenance Technician may be called upon to do include: Setting up an annual, quarterly, and monthly Preventive Maintenance schedule and implementing the schedule, and setting up backup plans in case of any discrepancy when carrying out the plan. Monitoring the progress of the actual preventive maintenance plan and updating the progress in the ERP. Check the condition of the equipment and perform work to maintain stable equipment condition. Prepare and manage spare materials and tools for stable maintenance of equipment. Find any broken parts or damaged wiring of the equipment and perform replacement operations. Perform work on equipment failures and proactively inspect equipment to ensure that there are no failures. Measures are taken to prevent the recurrence of equipment failures. Plan and execute preventive maintenance of the equipment. Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries. Requirements A Maintenance Technician requires a diverse mix of both hard and soft skills, particularly manual labor skills, including: Two years of college or technical school (Required) & Relevant Majors a Plus More than one year of experience in the Semiconductor field (preferred, but not required) Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of the manufacturing process Able to cope with pressure and be a team player Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction Able to stand and be on feet for up to 12 hours Must be a safety and quality-conscious person Goal and customer-oriented individual Must have the ability to work with small quantities of chemicals and in a wet lab environment (applicable to specific job function) Skilled as a trainer/mentor/coach with a focus on individual and team growth Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the equipment’s electricity Ability to handle basic repairs around the equipment.
